- Songs sung by Brian and friends
- Brian Westcott
- Brian was widely respected as a singer around his home in Worcester and at the many folk festivals he attended over the years.
-
- For such a cheerful man, he favoured songs of death and dying and we would count with glee the number of corpses that Brian could generate in his requisite two songs at the Somers Folk Club which he attended for many years.
-
- For the last twenty years of his life, I had the joy of singing with him in the harmony duo Flack Jacket and you can hear some of our attempts on this commemorative CD. The name derived from the fact that we would call each other "Waistcoat" and "Tiles" and a waistcoat with tiles is a flack jacket (strictly speaking, for the tedious, it's actually a bullet-proof vest but never mind that).
- The CD has been compiled from recordings made available by myself, Eric Payne and Eleanor Simmons and the selection and engineering has been done by Eric to make a representative selection of Brian's singing so that we can remember him.

-
- Brian had three great passions in life: folk singing, beer and Marney, his wife. She would complain that she was last in this list but we all know that wasn't the case. As for the beer and folk singing, he was a connoisseur of both and gained the respect of many for his extensive knowledge of world songs - and what to drink with them!
