AND YOU ? If you would like to email a column every quarter, covering your area (not just your club/act), anywhere,

*** MUST NOT BE just your club/act - and - MUST BE every quarter ! ***

then we offer FREE MEMBERSHIP incl. free listings and up to 4 free copies. Read below, and then contact us !

  • COVER an area, large or small (anywhere!), OR a SPECIAL INTEREST (eg morris, concertina, social dance ...)
  • Your 4 free copies: up to you what you do with them, some sell 'em (in eg own club or elsewhere), some give away 1 to other club organisers, some do both
  • Some like to write a lot, some don't. Maximum (from October 2012 issue) 1000 words (printed as approx 3/4 of A4 page); suggested minimum is 400.
Word count doesn't include heading, contact details, etc., which we set up and then paste in same every issue.
  • House style: please avoid CAPITALS FOR NAMES ETC as we emphasize by using bold. We add ® symbol for Members "(see ad/directory/festivals etc)"
  • Area covered: size up to you. It doesn't matter if there is a bit of overlap. Or perhaps a special interest, eg morris, concertina, social dance.
  • Your photo - please send a head and shoulders type (see examples below)
  • Pictures for column: a few high-res photo always welcome (they will be converted to mono, so eg won't work if eg mainly black and red) but up to you
  • Deadline: see INFO PAGE
